FIRST `SERIOUS´ DSLR FEATURE FILM?

While I am in the writing process of some scripts of my own I saw this trailer a few weeks ago already when I was looking for the fact if it was possible to make a feature film entirely on a DSLR. I heard rumors on a number of full-lenght films made or being made on a DSLR but never really saw any outcome. Here is a great example of a cinematic looking trailer for a movie shot on a DSLR. I really hope this one comes out! I am waiting to sit my ass in the cinema looking at a film that I know was produced on a DSLR. Might this be the one? I don´t know.. I sure hope so because it looks GREAT so far! Kuddo´s to the crew!

UPDATE ON MY LIFE

Hello fellow humans.
I thought I´d give you a little update on how everything is going given the fact that I live in Sweden for about 4 months now. So yeah, A lot has been going on (I know I always say that, in fact im planning on maintaining that phrase for the rest of my life).

JOB AT SUPERSTUDIO
I have been working at Superstudio for 3 months now. Best time of my life over there. I made about 5 videos there now and edited a few more. It has been a total blast. I have amazing collueges with amazing skills and I have been on a number of trips so far which were very cool. In the next week I will hear about my future at this company. There is a few options.

FORTHEWHIN
In January this year FORTHEWHIN became an official company. Since then I have been taking it easy with getting clients due the fact that I have my full-time job. I did some jobs for my core clients and did a music video for Wasted Bullet which will be released in a few weeks.

TUTORIALS
You guys might have noticed a Tutorials link at the top of this page. I am planning on doing some DSLR and editing video tutorials. Which will be available only on YouTube and throughout the Tutorials page obviously. Stay tuned for this one, it is going to be rather exciting.

FRIENDS
Throughout my girlfriend and her friends I gained some people I hang out with every now and then. We go out, party and talk and every time has been awesome with them. Im really glad I am not a lonely wolf here, which I was afraid of.

ALICE, THE AWESOME BUNNY
Im sorry to say I also lost a friend. Our bunny, Alice, that has been with me and my girlfriend for as long as we live together died last week. We had to put Alice down due a jaw abces; a nasty illness. I would have loved her to still be with us and I miss her every day. There is no such thing as `just a bunny´for the people that dont understand the buzz about this. There might be a new `roommate´coming in soon. Not a bunny this time. Needless to say, updates will follow.

OVERALL
I think I can classify myself as a hard worker now. I love my life, I love learning and I love achieving my goals over and over again. I suggest you try the same. NEVER be bored, NEVER stop learning.

LAMMHULTS MOODCLIP NUMBER TWO

As promised, here is the second Moodclip out of a total of 5 that I made within the first 3 weeks that I was working at Superstudio. Again; with my co-worker (Art director) Simon we started the idea from scratch and did planning, casting, location and production. My boss Patrik did a lot of the shots as well. With his genius photographic mind his view on things always comes out good in the production. I did the post-production, color correction and stuff. Clearly, the theme for this clip was `easy sunday morning´ feeling. Warm, fragile and cute. Enjoy.

MY FIRST SUPERSTUDIO PRODUCTION

Why not blog again right? Some of you might have already seen this one but I thought id post it on my blog for eeeeeeveryone to see. As some of you might know, besides being a freelance filmmaker im working for a big production/ad company in Borås, Sweden. I work there fulltime since I moved to Sweden and besides that FORTHEWHIN is still operating as well. Its busy times, but I cant say I dislike being busy.

Anyways, this is the first of 5 clips I directed and written with my co-worker Simon and my boss Patrik. It was for a company called Lammhults which is a big furniture designer company over here. It sure was a hell of a job but the results are amazing I think. The idea was to produce a clip that was linked to the certain material/feel that each furniture had. For this one the keywords were; Mystique, nature and Scandinavia. We shot this particular clip in the woods near Borås with the help from about 5 people, including assistants, a producer and stylist. Of course, I shot the entire video on the 5D MKII. Here are the results.
